Tamiya 1/72 Aircraft - 1/72 Grumman F-14D Tomcat - 60795

The Tamiya 1/72 Grumman F-14D Tomcat (60795) marks the debut of Tamiya's Tomcat design in the compact 1/72 scale — based on the acclaimed 1/48 kit (61118) but newly engineered for this scale. The F-14D Super Tomcat with its GE F110 engines and digital avionics was the definitive and final Tomcat variant, serving until the US Navy retired the type in 2006. Its distinctive variable-geometry swing wing and twin-tail silhouette make it one of the most recognisable fighters ever built.

Tamiya's 1/72 Tomcat brings the iconic swing-wing fighter to the most popular modelling scale.

Kit highlights:

• Accurate F-14D in 1/72 scale — Tamiya's first 1/72 Tomcat
• Variable sweep wing mechanism
• Phoenix, Sparrow, and Sidewinder weapon options
• US Navy carrier squadron marking options
• The iconic Tomcat in the world's most popular scale
