The Tamiya 1/48 Ki-46 III Reconnaissance Aircraft and Kurogane 4x4 Set (25217) is a unique combined kit pairing two completely different Japanese WWII subjects — the elegant Mitsubishi Ki-46 'Dinah' twin-engine reconnaissance aircraft and the diminutive Kurogane 4x4 light utility car — in a single 1/48 box. The Ki-46 was one of the fastest aircraft of its era when it entered service in 1941, able to outrun most Allied interceptors. The Kurogane Type 95 was Japan's first domestically produced four-wheel-drive car.
