The Tamiya 1/48 A-10A Thunderbolt II (61028) reproduces the legendary American close air support aircraft affectionately known as the 'Warthog'. Built around its devastating GAU-8 Avenger 30mm rotary cannon and designed to survive ground fire while destroying enemy armour, the A-10 has served in every major American conflict from the Gulf War onwards and remains one of the most distinctive and capable aircraft in the USAF inventory.
