The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. Tank Destroyer M36 (35390) reproduces the most powerfully armed American tank destroyer of the Second World War. Armed with the 90mm M3 gun — the only American weapon capable of reliably defeating German Panther and Tiger tanks at combat range — the M36 was rushed into service in late 1944 and made an immediate impact in the fighting through Northwest Europe. This kit represents a significant update to the original Tamiya release, featuring almost entirely new tooling.
The open-topped turret, sloped welded hull, and distinctive 90mm gun are all captured in excellent 1/35 detail, making this one of Tamiya's most accurate American armour kits.
