Tamiya 1/35 Military - U.S. M113A2 Desert Version - 35265

The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. M113A2 Desert Version (35265) reproduces the M113A2 armoured personnel carrier in its desert combat configuration — as used during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The M113 series served in an enormous variety of roles throughout the Cold War and beyond, and the Desert Storm deployment saw the A2 variant updated with improved engine, transmission, and NBC protection. In the desert scheme the M113 formed the backbone of allied mechanised infantry transport.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the A2's desert configuration with appropriate stowage and sand-coloured markings options.

Kit highlights:

• Accurate M113A2 in desert MERDC/sand camouflage configuration
• Improved A2 hull and armament detail
• Desert Storm Coalition marking options
• Ideal for Gulf War 1991 dioramas
• Complements Tamiya's M1A1 Abrams and M2A2 Bradley kits
