The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage 'Awaiting Orders' Set (35312) reproduces the compact and manoeuvrable self-propelled 75mm howitzer that provided direct fire support to US Army mechanised and armoured units throughout the Second World War. Based on the M5A1 Stuart hull, the M8 HMC was fast, well liked by its crews, and able to keep pace with the armoured columns it supported. The 'Awaiting Orders' set includes three crew figures in atmospheric relaxed poses.

Tamiya's kit captures the open fighting compartment, 75mm M2/M3 howitzer, and Stuart-derived hull with excellent detail.
