Tamiya 1/35 Military - U.S. Airborne M551 Sheridan Tank (Vietnam War) - 35365

The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. Airborne M551 Sheridan Vietnam War (35365) reproduces the M551 Sheridan in its Vietnam War airborne light tank configuration — the vehicle that was paradropped into combat zones from C-130 aircraft as part of the 82nd Airborne Division's deployment to Hamburger Hill and other operations. The Sheridan's unusual 152mm gun/missile launcher, aluminium hull, and agility in jungle terrain made it a distinctive and unusual AFV in American service.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Sheridan in Vietnam jungle green with US Army airborne markings — an important and less commonly modelled Vietnam-era subject.

Kit highlights:

• Accurate M551 Sheridan in Vietnam War configuration
• 152mm gun/missile launcher faithfully reproduced
• Aluminium hull and distinctive Sheridan silhouette
• 82nd Airborne Division and Vietnam marking options
• A unique and important Vietnam-era US armour subject
