About this kit
The Tamiya 1/35 King Tiger Henschel Turret Zimmerit Coating Sheet (12648) provides a self-adhesive pre-printed zimmerit sticker sheet to replicate the anti-magnetic mine paste texture on King Tiger tanks fitted with the standard Henschel production turret. The Henschel turret King Tiger — often called the 'production turret' variant — was the most widely produced form of the type, and many early examples received zimmerit coating at the factory.
This sheet provides a consistent, accurate zimmerit pattern for the Henschel turret's complex curved surfaces, saving considerable time compared to hand-applying texture materials.
Key features:
- Self-adhesive zimmerit sheet for King Tiger Henschel turret
- Accurate zimmerit ridge pattern for this turret form
- Much faster than hand-applied putty zimmerit
- Compatible with Tamiya King Tiger Production Turret kit (35164)
- Suitable for modellers seeking authentic late-war appearance
Please note: Check compatibility with your specific Tamiya King Tiger kit before purchase.
