About this kit
The Tamiya 1/35 German Panzerkampfwagen II (35009) reproduces Germany's principal light tank of the early war period — the diminutive Panzer II that bore the burden of the 1939 and 1940 campaigns alongside the even smaller Panzer I. Armed with a 20mm autocannon and co-axial MG, the Panzer II was never designed as a main battle tank but served in that role by necessity through the Polish, Norwegian, and French campaigns, and even into the early stages of Barbarossa.
Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Panzer II's compact silhouette, multi-bogie suspension, and small turret with classic Tamiya accuracy. An essential subject for early-war Blitzkrieg dioramas.
Kit highlights:
- Accurate Panzer II in 1/35 scale with 20mm autocannon
- Compact hull, small turret, and multi-bogie suspension
- Early-war Poland and France marking options
- Ideal alongside Tamiya's PaK 35/36 and early infantry sets
- Classic Tamiya early-war German subject
Please note: Cement and paints required, sold separately.
