Tamiya 1/32 Aircraft - 1/32 F4U-1D Corsair - 60327

The Tamiya 1/32 F4U-1D Corsair (60327) reproduces the definitive fighter-bomber variant of the legendary Corsair — the F4U-1D that combined the proven airframe with enhanced ground attack capability through wing hardpoints for rockets and bombs, plus drop tanks for extended range. By 1944 the Corsair had established itself as the pre-eminent Allied fighter-bomber in the Pacific, delivering devastating strikes against Japanese ground targets and shipping while remaining capable of dogfighting any Japanese fighter.

Tamiya's 1/32 kit delivers the 1D variant's additional weaponry options alongside the characteristic Corsair detailing at an impressive scale.

Kit highlights:

• Accurate 1/32 F4U-1D with ground attack weapons options
• Wing hardpoints for rockets, bombs, and drop tanks
• Detailed R-2800 radial engine and cockpit interior
• US Navy and USMC Pacific strike marking options
• Fighter-bomber variant with full weapons load in 1/32
