About this kit
The Tamiya 1/12 Yamaha Virago XV1000 (14044) reproduces Yamaha's V-twin cruiser in the 1000cc XV configuration — an important early entry in Yamaha's successful Virago range that brought the American cruiser aesthetic to a Japanese motorcycle in a package that combined V-twin character with Japanese reliability. The Virago XV1000's air-cooled 80° V-twin engine, classic pull-back handlebars, and low-slung chrome-laden styling made it a popular choice for riders who wanted cruiser character without the maintenance demands of the American originals.
Kit highlights:
- Accurate Yamaha Virago XV1000 in 1/12 scale
- 80° V-twin engine and classic cruiser specification
- Low-slung stance and chrome detailing reproduced
- Classic American-style Yamaha cruiser in 1/12
- A foundational Tamiya 1/12 motorcycle subject
Please note: Cement and paints required, sold separately.
