About this kit
The Tamiya 1/12 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R (14090) reproduces the motorcycle that defined the hyperbike class at the turn of the millennium — the Hayabusa that took the world's fastest production motorcycle title in 1999 with a verified top speed of over 185mph. The GSX1300R's name means 'peregrine falcon' in Japanese — the bird that preys on the European blackbird — a pointed reference to the Honda Super Blackbird it displaced. The aerodynamic all-enclosing fairing and 1298cc inline-four engine made it a landmark machine.
