About this kit
The Tamiya 1/12 Honda NSR500 Factory Colour (14099) reproduces the Honda NSR500 in the authentic factory team colour scheme — the Grand Prix 500cc two-stroke racer that gave Honda dominance over the 500cc World Championship through the late 1980s and 1990s. The NSR500 won the 500cc World Championship multiple times with riders including Freddie Spencer, Eddie Lawson, Mick Doohan, and Alex Crivillé — a record of achievement unmatched by any other 500cc machine. Factory colour captures the bike as the Honda works team intended.

Old kit showing it's age now.
Purchased this kit as I made it before many years ago, so wanted another bash but make the bike better this time, the kit comes with a clear cowling & white cowling so the choice is yours, I'm going with the clear so I can see the engine.
Price is great value.
Sadly the kit I'd got suffered with 'flash' on many of the parts, something you rarely see on a Tamiya kit, but I love removing flash so can't moan about that, the fit of the parts are good and so far enjoying the build up, be a few weeks before it's completed though.
