Meng Ships - Warship Builder Harbour in the Industrial Age - WB-006

The Meng Warship Builder Harbour in the Industrial Age (WB-006) is a cartoon style plastic model kit of a harbour scene from Meng's Warship Builder series. It provides a stylised quayside on which to display Warship Builder egg ships.

The design draws on the busy industrial ports of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when steam, steel and coal transformed shipping and naval power. Meng's Warship Builder kits shrink famous ships such as HMS Hood and USS Lexington into playful egg shaped forms, making this harbour a natural backdrop for a small collection.
