Meng 1/35 Detail Parts - Russian 9M38 SAM Display Racks and Container - SPS-063

The Meng 1/35 Russian 9M38 SAM Display Racks and Container (SPS-063) is an accessory set of display racks and a transport container for the 9M38 surface to air missile used by the Russian Buk system.

The 9M38 is the missile fired by the 9K37M1 Buk, known in NATO as the SA-11 Gadfly. Reloads travel in sealed containers and are handled on ground racks. The Buk, in service since the early 1980s, remains in use with Russia, Ukraine, Finland and other nations. Missile racks and a container placed alongside the launcher create a convincing reload or storage scene and give the large missiles extra visual impact.
