Meng 1/35 Military - Russian 9K37M1 Buk Air Defence Missile System - SS-014

The Meng 1/35 Russian 9K37M1 Buk Missile System (SS-014) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Soviet designed tracked self propelled surface to air missile launcher known to NATO as the SA-11 Gadfly.

Introduced in the early 1980s, the Buk combines a search and engagement radar with four ready to fire 9M38 missiles on one tracked chassis, and it remains in service with Russia, Ukraine, Finland and others. Each launcher vehicle can detect, track and engage targets independently, making it a flexible and widely exported system. With missiles raised, the finished model has a dramatic profile, and the optional Meng SPS-063 racks and container add a reload scene.
