Meng 1/700 Ships - RMS Titanic - PS-008

The Meng 1/700 RMS Titanic (PS-008) is a pre coloured, snap fit plastic model kit of the British Olympic class ocean liner operated by the White Star Line in 1912. A built in lighting strip illuminates the passenger cabins for a striking night time display.

Built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast, Titanic struck an iceberg on her maiden voyage and sank in the early hours of 15 April 1912 with the loss of more than 1,500 lives. Her wreck was not found until 1985. Her story has inspired countless books and films, most famously James Cameron's 1997 epic, and the wreck still lies around 3,800 metres down off Newfoundland.

Snap fit assembly means no glue is needed, though side cutters and a hobby knife will help you remove parts cleanly from the sprues.
