Meng Figures - Red Army Soldier - MOE-006

The Meng Red Army Soldier (MOE-006) is a pre coloured, snap fit cartoon style figure kit from Meng's Chinese themed MOE soldier series, depicting a soldier of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. Like its stablemates, it was styled with cartoonist Liu Naizhong.

The Chinese Red Army was the Communist force of the late 1920s and 1930s, best remembered for the Long March of 1934 to 1935. Founded in 1927 and 1928, it was later reorganised into the Eighth Route Army and New Fourth Army when the war against Japan began in 1937, both also covered by this Meng series.
