The Meng precision flat tip tweezers (MTS-035) are a modelling tool with flat, parallel tips for gripping and placing small parts. They are designed for scale modellers working with decals, photo etched metal and tiny plastic components.
Flat tips spread pressure across a wider area than pointed tweezers, so delicate items are less likely to be bent, torn or sent flying across the bench. Pointed tweezers are better for reaching into tight corners, so many modellers keep both styles on the bench. Flat tips are especially kind to soft, freshly soaked decals.
