About this kit
The Meng 1/35 Israeli Merkava Mk.4M with Slat Armour (TS-056) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Israeli Merkava Mk 4M main battle tank fitted with slat armour.
The Merkava Mk 4M is equipped with the Trophy active protection system, which became the first such system to defeat incoming anti tank missiles in combat, and slat armour adds further protection against rocket propelled grenades. The Merkava series places the engine at the front of the hull to protect the crew and has a rear door for loading ammunition or troops. The Mk 4 is the latest version in Israeli service, and slat armour and Trophy fittings make this kit a highly distinctive modern build.
