Meng 1/35 Military - Merkava Mk.3D Early Israeli Main Battle Tank - TS-001

The Meng 1/35 Merkava Mk.3D Early (TS-001) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Israeli Merkava Mk 3 Dor Dalet main battle tank in its early production form.

The Merkava series puts the engine at the front for crew protection. The Mk.3D introduced modular, replaceable armour panels on the turret and hull, and it served the Israel Defense Forces through the 2000s. The design reflects Israel's emphasis on crew survival, with a rear hatch that lets the crew exit under cover and the engine shielding the fighting compartment. The Mk.3D's angular armour modules make it look very different from earlier Merkavas and give the model a purposeful, modern outline.
