About this kit
The Meng 1/35 German Leopard 2A7+ Main Battle Tank (TS-042) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Leopard 2A7+, a modern German tank developed for both conventional and urban warfare.
Developed by Krauss Maffei Wegmann, the Leopard 2A7+ adds modular protection, a remote weapon station and enhanced sensors to the Leopard 2, and it has been exported to Qatar. Qatar ordered the 2A7+ in 2013, making it the first export customer for this version. With its extra modular armour, sensors and remote weapon station, the finished model is a bulky and imposing example of a modern Leopard, and it contrasts well with Meng's German Army Leopard 2A7, TS-027.
