About this kit
The Meng 1/35 Leopard 2A7 German Main Battle Tank (TS-027) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the modern German Leopard 2A7, one of the most advanced versions of the Leopard 2 family.
The Leopard 2A7 entered Bundeswehr service in the mid 2010s with improved protection for urban and asymmetric combat, better situational awareness and the long L55 gun. Germany's Leopard 2 family has been the most widely exported Western tank since the 1980s, and the 2A7 represents its modern German Army standard. Its extra armour modules, sensors and long gun make it a bulky, imposing model, quite different in outline from earlier versions such as the Leopard 2A4.
