About this kit
The Meng 1/35 Israeli MBT Magach 6B Gal Batash (TS-040) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Magach 6B Gal Batash, an Israeli upgraded M60 main battle tank with Batash appliqué armour.
Israel extensively rebuilt its American M60 tanks as the Magach series, and this kit depicts one of the final and most distinctive versions. The 6B Gal combined the Gal fire control system with the angular Batash passive armour package, giving the old M60 hull a dramatically different look in service into the 2000s. Magach tanks fought in Israel's wars from 1967 and remained in reserve service for decades. The 6B Gal Batash was among the last M60 based variants in front line use before the Merkava replaced them.
