About this product
The Meng 1/35 GAZ-233014 STS Tiger Sagged Wheel Set (SPS-025) is a resin upgrade set of weighted replacement wheels for Meng's model of the Russian GAZ Tiger armoured high mobility vehicle.
Real tyres flatten under a vehicle's weight, and perfectly round kit wheels are one of the quickest giveaways of a model. The Tiger itself is a Russian four wheel drive armoured vehicle used by the army, police and interior troops since the 2000s. Its large off road tyres are a prominent feature, so getting the weighted look right makes a real difference to the finished model on a display base.
Key Features
- Five cast resin wheels: four road wheels and one spare
- Sagged lower sidewalls for a convincing weighted look
- Tread pattern cast in for the off road tyres
- Designed for the Meng VS-003 GAZ-233014 STS Tiger kit
- A simple upgrade with a big visual payoff
This is an upgrade set and requires the Meng VS-003 Tiger kit, sold separately. Resin parts need careful removal from their casting blocks, so the set is best suited to experienced modellers.
