The Meng flexible sandpaper 2000 grit extra fine (MTS-042D) is a pack of six extra fine abrasive sheets for smoothing and polishing plastic model parts. It is intended for the final stages of surface preparation.
At 2000 grit the paper removes the faint scratches left by coarser grades, and its flexibility lets it follow curved surfaces such as fuselages, hulls and figure parts. Modellers typically finish with grades like this after working through coarser papers, and it is especially useful before applying gloss or metallic paints, where any scratch shows.
