About this kit

The Meng 1/48 F-35A Lightning II (LS-007) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Lockheed Martin F-35A, the conventional take off and landing version of the fifth generation stealth fighter.

The F-35A reached initial operational capability with the US Air Force in 2016 and is flown by a long list of allied air forces, making it one of the most important combat aircraft of its era. The F-35 programme is the largest fighter programme in history, with three variants built for air forces, navies and marine corps around the world. The A model is the most numerous version, and its blended stealth shape makes a clean, modern subject for a display alongside earlier jets.
