The Meng Dune Spice Harvester (SS-020) is a plastic model kit of the spice harvester, the colossal desert mining vehicle seen in Denis Villeneuve's Dune films. It builds into a display model around 200mm long.
On the desert planet Arrakis, harvesters scoop up sand rich in the precious spice melange while sandworms, drawn by their vibrations, close in. Carryall aircraft stand by to lift the machines clear before a worm strikes. The design of the harvester in the films is vast and industrial, with a wide body, heavy tracks and a crawler layout that fits the brutal environment of Arrakis.
