Meng 1/48 Aircraft - Chinese J-20 Stealth Fighter - LS-002

The Meng 1/48 Chinese J-20 Stealth Fighter (LS-002) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Chengdu J-20 Mighty Dragon, China's fifth generation stealth fighter.

First flown in 2011 and in service with the People's Liberation Army Air Force since 2017, the J-20 is a large twin engined canard delta designed for long range air superiority. The J-20 made China only the second nation, after the United States, to put a stealth fighter into operational service, and it is a major symbol of the country's growing air power. Its long fuselage and canard delta layout give a 1/48 model real presence on the display shelf, and it makes an interesting comparison with Western stealth fighters such as the F-35.
