The Italeri 1/72 Sd.Kfz.251/8 Ambulance (7077) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Sd.Kfz.251/8 — the armoured medical evacuation variant of Germany's standard half-track. The 251/8 provided armoured protection for medical personnel collecting wounded under fire, and its Red Cross markings theoretically granted it protection under the Geneva Convention. An important support vehicle for any realistic German mechanised force diorama.
