About this kit
The Italeri 1/72 Sd.Kfz.232 6-Rad (97032) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Sd.Kfz.232 six-wheeled armoured car — the German radio communications vehicle that served in the early war campaigns. The 232 6-Rad featured a distinctive frame antenna above the open-topped turret for long-range radio communication, making it the command vehicle for armoured reconnaissance units. It saw service in Poland and France before being phased out in favour of the later eight-wheeled types.
