The Italeri 1/72 JAS 39 Twin Seater (91216) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Saab JAS 39D — the two-seat trainer variant of the Gripen. The two-seater retains full combat capability while accommodating a student pilot or weapons systems operator in the rear cockpit. The JAS 39D serves with the Swedish Air Force and export customers as a conversion trainer for new Gripen pilots.
