The Italeri 1/72 F4U-4B Korean War (1453) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the late-variant Corsair operated by the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. The F4U-4B variant was fitted with four 20mm cannon in place of the six .50-cal machine guns of earlier marks, and saw intensive close air support action during the conflict. Italeri's kit captures the distinctive gull-wing profile in the smaller 1/72 scale with surface detail and decals for accurate Korean War markings.
