The Italeri 1/72 AH-64D Longbow Apache (080) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the AH-64D Longbow Apache — the upgraded version with the AN/APG-78 Longbow millimetre-wave fire control radar in a distinctive mast-mounted radome above the rotor. The Longbow radar allows the Apache to acquire and engage up to 16 targets simultaneously in poor visibility and without exposing itself by popping above terrain obstacles. This upgrade dramatically enhanced the Apache's lethality and survivability.
