The Italeri 1/35 PaK 97/38 Anti-Tank Gun with Crew (96460) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Pak 97/38 — the improvised German anti-tank gun combining a captured French 75mm M1897 barrel with the carriage of the German 5cm PaK 38. This unusual hybrid was created in 1942 to provide German anti-tank units with a more capable weapon as the standard 5cm gun became inadequate against the T-34 and KV-1.
