About this kit
The Italeri 1/35 BMW Sidecars (315) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the BMW R75 motorcycle combination — the sidecar motorcycle used extensively by German reconnaissance and dispatch units in World War II. The BMW R75 was specifically designed for military use with a driven sidecar wheel providing three-wheel drive for off-road capability. The combination was used in North Africa, the Eastern Front, and across all German operational theatres, often armed with a machine gun in the sidecar.
