The ICM 1/144 U-Boat Type XXIII WWII German Submarine (ICMS004) is a 1/144 scale model kit of the Type XXIII — the small coastal submarine developed late in WWII as a stop-gap solution to the problems facing Germany's U-boat fleet. The Type XXIII was designed for coastal operations around Britain and could carry only two torpedoes, but its streamlined hull gave it excellent underwater speed and maneuvrability making it a dangerous threat to Allied coastal shipping in the final months of WWII.
