The ICM 1/72 Focke-Wulf Fw 189A-2 WWII German Reconnaissance Plane (ICM72292) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Fw 189A-2 — the improved variant with heavier defensive armament in the turret position. The A-2 replaced the single MG 15 turret gun with twin MG 81Z weapons for better defensive capability against Soviet fighters. The Fw 189A-2 was the most produced variant and served extensively on the Eastern Front as the Luftwaffe's primary battlefield reconnaissance aircraft throughout 1942-45.
