The ICM 1/72 Polikarpov I-15bis WWII Soviet Biplane Fighter (ICM72012) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the I-15bis — the improved version replacing the original gull wing with a more conventional straight upper wing, intended to address visibility complaints from pilots. The I-15bis served extensively in Spain, China, Finland, and the Eastern Front campaigns of 1941-42. Despite being outclassed by modern monoplane fighters, the I-15bis served in large numbers and represents an important chapter in Soviet aviation.
