The ICM 1/48 Dornier Do 217M-1 WWII German Bomber (ICM48274) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Do 217M-1 — the improved variant featuring Daimler-Benz DB 603A inline engines in place of the radial engines of earlier Do 217s. The inline engine installation gave the M-1 a sleeker appearance and generally better performance at altitude. The Do 217M was the primary version involved in the Steinbock raids on Britain in early 1944, the last major Luftwaffe bomber offensive against England.
