The ICM 1/48 Dornier Do 17Z-7 WWII German Night Fighter Plane (ICM48245) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Do 17Z-7 'Kauz' — the interim night fighter variant of the Flying Pencil, featuring a modified nose with a solid gun pack replacing the glazed nose of the bomber. The Do 17Z-7 was an expedient night fighter solution before the dedicated He 219 became available, serving in the early night defence of Germany against RAF Bomber Command raids in 1940-41.
