ICM Aircraft 1:144 - Tupolev-144D, Soviet Supersonic Passenger Aircraft - ICM14402

The ICM 1/144 Tupolev Tu-144D Soviet Supersonic Passenger Aircraft (ICM14402) is a 1/144 scale model kit of the Tu-144D — the improved production variant of the Tu-144 with the more powerful NK-321 turbofan engines (same type as the Tu-160 bomber), replacing the troublesome Kuznetsov NK-144 of earlier aircraft. The D-variant made limited commercial flights on the Moscow-Alma Ata route in 1977-78 before the programme was ended following a crash. The D variant's engine nacelles differ subtly from the original.
