About this kit
Expected December 2026 for the ICM 1/48 PBO-1 Hudson (ICM48330), the US Navy patrol version of Lockheed's famous twin engined Hudson. Lockheed developed the Hudson from its Model 14 airliner, and the US Navy took the type on as the PBO-1 for maritime patrol over the Atlantic in the early years of the Second World War.
PBO-1 Hudsons of patrol squadron VP-82 flying from Newfoundland were credited with the first German U-boats sunk by US forces in March 1942, which makes this a strong choice for anti submarine warfare and US Navy collections.
