The ICM 1/72 U-Boat Type XXVIIB Seehund Early WWII German Midget Submarine (ICMS006) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Seehund ('Seal') midget submarine in early production configuration. The Type XXVIIB Seehund was Germany's most successful midget submarine, operated by two-man crews who made 142 operational sorties from their bases in the Netherlands, sinking or damaging 15 Allied vessels. The large 1/72 scale allows outstanding detail of this compact but historically important vessel.
