The ICM 1/72 Sukhoi Su-2 WWII Soviet Light Bomber (ICM72081) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Sukhoi Su-2 — the Soviet light bomber that served in large numbers at the start of Operation Barbarossa in June 1941. Despite being quickly outclassed by German fighters, the Su-2 provided valuable experience and its crews fought with great courage in the opening desperate months of the Eastern Front campaign. ICM's kit is the only mainstream 1/72 Su-2, filling an important gap for Soviet WWII aviation enthusiasts.
