The ICM 1/48 Spitfire Mk.VIII WWII British Fighter Plane (ICM48067) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Spitfire Mk.VIII — the thoroughly redesigned variant incorporating all the improvements developed for the Mk.VII but without pressurisation, making it lighter and more manoeuvrable. The Mk.VIII served primarily overseas — in the Mediterranean, Middle East, Burma, and Pacific — and was the favourite variant of many experienced pilots. ICM's kit captures this important and often-overlooked Spitfire mark.
