The ICM 1/48 LaGG-3 Series 1-4 WWII Soviet Fighter Plane (ICM48091) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the LaGG-3 — the Soviet fighter built entirely of wood, nicknamed 'Lakirovanny Garantirovannyy Grob' (Varnished Guaranteed Coffin) by its pilots for its challenging handling characteristics. Despite its difficult reputation, the LaGG-3 served through the critical early Eastern Front period and was progressively improved. The early Series 1-4 represents the type as it entered service in 1941.
