The Hobby Boss 1/48 Yak-38 / Yak-38M Forger A (80362) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Yakovlev Yak-38, the Soviet Navy's carrier based vertical take off strike fighter of the Cold War.

Hobby Boss's 1/48 Yak-38 / Yak-38M Forger A (80362) tackles the Soviet Navy's only operational vertical take off strike fighter. Flown from the Kiev class aviation cruisers from the late 1970s, the Yak-38 used a main lift and cruise engine plus two dedicated lift jets behind the cockpit, giving it a unique if limited capability until retirement in the early 1990s.
