Hobby Boss 1/72 Aircraft - Westland Lynx HAS.2 - 87236

The Hobby Boss 1/72 Lynx HAS.2 (87236) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Westland Lynx HAS.2, the British naval anti submarine helicopter of the Cold War era.

The Westland Lynx HAS.2 was the first naval version of the fast Anglo French helicopter, flying from Royal Navy frigates and destroyers from the late 1970s and proving its worth in the Falklands. This kit also suits the Dutch and French navies, which both adopted the type. Agile and fast, the naval Lynx carried torpedoes, depth charges and Sea Skua anti ship missiles. Sea Skua missiles are not included in this kit, but the two torpedoes suit an anti submarine fit.
