About this kit
The Hobby Boss 1/48 F4U-4 Corsair Late Version (80387) is an injection moulded plastic model kit of the Vought F4U-4, the American carrier fighter bomber flown by US Marine Corps squadrons in the Korean War.
This kit presents the definitive wartime Corsair, powered by an uprated Double Wasp driving a four bladed propeller. Arriving too late for much action in 1945, the F4U-4 came into its own over Korea, where US Marine Corps squadrons flew it from escort carriers in the close support role.
